The Square disappoint in Div One as Sparta Reserves beat Torpedoes to go second, whilst AFC Waddesdon second from bottom, beat Grenson who were second from top!  Big wins also for Unique and LBG
Stoke Mandeville go top of Div Two after win at Thame Athletic, Jakemans beat Wanderers to go second and Dents get revenge by hitting The Cricketers for four

There was just the one outstanding Quarter Final tie in The Vale of Aylesbury Cup set for this Sunday – and what an outstanding game it turned out to be!  Aylesbury Town FC, who recently went top in Div Two and are still in The Berks & Bucks FA Sunday Junior Trophy, went down narrowly 3-2 to Premier Division side VTS FC who booked their place in the semis.

Meanwhile in league action, there was a 7 goal thriller at Stone Rec as in form Britannia United went down 4-3 to champions FC Sparta Corinthians in The Prem.  Tom Brindley helped himself to a hat trick as Elm Farm thumped Padbury AFC 12-1 whilst Ickford's visit to Springhill was postponed.

Only Cheddington FC had the day off in Div One this Sunday as leaders The Square FC looked to stretch their lead at the top when they took on Aristocrat.  It turned out to be a bad day all round as they were surprisingly beaten 2-1 and according to Dave McArdle, they were the ONLY side who failed to phone in the result!!  Meadowcroft United soon found themselves behind to an Anthony Nicholls goal for Unique FC who started the game with just the bare 11.  Meadowcroft then went into the break with a 2-1 and looked to be heading for all three points when an early second half injury for Unique meant they were to see the majority of the half played with just 10 men.  They never gave in as two quick strikes from Jamie Lewis and Alec Bell gave them a 3-2 lead which they battled through to hang on to and take the points.  In the final game, second place Grenson FC took on second bottom AFC Waddesdon with a ten point gap separating the two sides before the start of play today.  AFC Waddesdon started the game with only 10 men before the 11th 'man' turned up.  Looking a little 'tired' from the night before, he soon found a yellow card under his nose from referee Alan Watts after being on the field for just two minutes.  After a goalless first half, Waddesdon took the lead through man of the match Paul Beazley with his second goal in as many games with his shot going in off the post.  A defence splitting pass saw Grenson draw level before Will Gadsby slotted in the winner with 10 minutes to go to give them a 2-1 win.  FC Sparta Corinthians Reserves were today's big winners as they beat FC Torpedo Aylesbury 4-3 at Edinburgh Sports Ground.  Sparta found themselves one down early on then trailing 3-1 and looking down and out.  They came right back though to win it late on and move above three sides into second place in the table tonight.  LBG (Aylesbury) welcomed troubled AS Cavese to Kimble Cricket Club and sent them packing with a comfortable 7-2 win.

In Div Two, Excel Dents Football Club, who have had a difficult week off off the field, put things right on the pitch by hitting Chearsley Cricketers for four without reply just a fortnight on from when the visitors beat them in The Chris Payne Trophy. Top spot tonight goes to Stoke Mandeville FC after their 6-3 win away at Thame Athletic and Jakemans Sports go second after beating FC Wanderers 5-2.
