AVDC made the decision to call off all games due to be played on Council venues by 8am this morning after the heavy overnight frost.

In The Berks & Bucks FA Sunday Junior Trophy, Jakemans Sports took on Belmont (Chesham) Reserves who are currently top in The Chesham Sunday League Division Two having lost just twice in the league this season.  It all ended rather abruptly for our side as they were well and truly beaten 5-0.  In the other tie, Aylesbury Town's game with MK's Wolverton Town was postponed and they will try again next week.

Eight sides remain in this seasons Tony Higginson Challenge Cup before start of play today, with three of these coming from Division One.

VTS FC were aiming to reach their second semi final in as many weeks.  Having secured their place in the last four of The Vale of Aylesbury Cup last week, they took on Britannia United at Stone Rec this Sunday.  It was a close encounter with Brit's Luke Johnston's last minute strike giving his side a narrow 3-2 win.  The other all Premier Division clash saw holders Elm Farm ease past Ickford 6-1 whilst FC Sparta Corinthians, who have 100% record in all competition so far this season, only just squeezed out Div One side Cheddington FC 4-2.  In the all Div One clash, The Square were 2-0 up against Grenson when the game was brought to an end after 61 minutes by the referee.

In league action, Padbury AFC were due to take on Springhill FC in the top flights only game this weekend, but it was postponed.

Div One action saw Aristocrat win their second game in as many weeks with a 4-3 victory over Unique FC - Nick Little bagged a brace for the losers.  LBG (Aylesbury) are still in the chase and they drew 2-2 with Meadowcroft United who are still languishing down towards the bottom of the table though they have played only 8 league games so far this season.

In Div Two, a muddy Towersey derby saw Chearsley Cricketers beat Thame Athletic 6-3 in the days only game.
