SLN AYLESBURY SUNDAY FOOTBALL COMBINATION

Meeting Minutes
November 1st, 2007

Opening:

The regular meeting of the SLN Aylesbury Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:00 on 1st November 2007 at Bucks CC S & SC by Roland Simmons.

Present: Roland Simmons, George Key, Sharon Pennery, Dave McArdle, Jim Wallace, Paul Bateman, Darren Pennery, Brian Constable, Richard Boyle, Terry Medd, Wayne Marting

Apologies: Steve Downer, Bob Walter, Basil Wetters

Approval of Minutes

Chairman:

1.      Ickford Football Club invited in to the meeting to discuss Sportsmanship Table.

2.      Thanks passed to Steve Mortimer and Paul Rogers for attending the meeting.

3.      A decision has been made and passed by County that the Premier Division shall play each other 3 times, this has come as a result of the teams that have resigned from the League.

Secretary:

1.      Haydon Hill resigned from the League, letter received from James Green. Haydon Hill was unable to field a team for several weeks and therefore was unable to continue with out occurring fines each week.

2.      Haydon Hill to lose League deposit and fined for withdrawing from the League.

3.      All other correspondence read out and passed.

Treasurer:

1. Padbury AFC have one outstanding fine to pay this will now be increased by £20.00

Fixture Secretary:

1.      All Fixtures have been rearranged and a new fixture list will be included with these minutes.

2.      It has been made aware that Clubs are not making every Sunday available. Failure to be available could result in your club being FINED.

Referee’s Secretary:

1.  Referee’s for Rep match as follows: Keith Doughty (referee), Mike Dobson (assistant referee), Brian Constable (assistant referee), Alan Watts (4th official).

Registration Secretary:

1.      Registration of some players to be checked that they are not on contract with Saturday League Teams.

2.      Fines passed to League Secretary.

Results/Press Secretary:

            1. Some Clubs are still not ringing in results before 2pm.

Sportsmanship Secretary:

            1. Monitoring of sportsmanship table to continue.

Ground Liaison Officer:

1. League Secretary to liaise with Bob regarding Cup Final Venues.

Any other Business:

1.      Vale of Aylesbury Cup draw to take place at Aston Clinton S&SC, Sunday 18th November 2007 after all the results have been phoned in.

Agenda for Next Meeting:

1.      The structure for the Leagues next season maybe discussed any information on this matter to be addressed to the League Secretary Only.
