SLN AYLESBURY SUNDAY FOOTBALL COMBINATION

Meeting Minutes
 October 4th, 2007

Opening:

The regular meeting of the SLN Aylesbury Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:02 on 4th October 2007 at Bucks CC S & SC by Roland Simmons.

Present:

Roland Simmons, Jim Wallace, George Key, Paul Bateman, Darren Pennery, Terry Medd, Basil Wetters, Brian Constable, Steve Downer

Apologies:

Sharon Pennery, Dave McArdle, Bob Walter, Richard Boyle, Richard Lipscombe

Approval of Minutes

Chairman:

  1. Invoices received from Ken Barrett for League Handbook and Folders, invoices to be paid and forwarded with a letter thanking Ken for his services to the League.

Secretary:

  1. Athletico Aylesbury resigned from the League, letter received from Anthony Hall very sorry to other teams in the league but unable to continue due to lack of players.
  2. Athletico Aylesbury to lose League deposit and fined for withdrawing from the League.
  3. Received various club detail changes please see amendment list

Treasurer:

  1. Treasurer welcomed back George Key to the Committee.
  2. Deposit account needs to be increased by two hundred pounds to cover all eventuality’s incase the League was to fold.
  3. No outstanding Fines.

Fixture Secretary:

  1. Please note fixture changes on Football Mitoo especially 23rd December 2007.
  2. Please note CLOSED dates must be requesting in writing to the Secretary giving at least 28 days notice. Rule 10 G 3

Referee’s Secretary:

  1. Thank you to Mike Dobson for sorting out Bucks FC v Yeoman FC 16th September 2007. The pitch at Walton Court was occupied from the Fair the previous day and Mike contacted the grounds man at Fairford Leys and the match was played there. Also a Thank you to both clubs for there co-operation.
  2. Beware of your language at Ickford it may cost you a Caution or Sending off. The Parish Council has complained about the language. Please respect this comment.
  3. The following referee’s maybe moving or job changes have changed circumstances. Ian Brown, Chris Hardy, Simon Roe and Steve Wright.
  4. The League and the Aylesbury Referee’s Association are going to carry out a recruitment drive to get more referees.

Registration Secretary:

  1. Current player statistics: Registered Players 688 – Transfers 2
  2. Team Sheets to be filled in correctly
  3. Please mark substitutions on team sheet with an (S) if played in the match.
  4. Please remember to enclose a SAE for return of all correspondence

Results/Press Secretary:

  1. Please note results to phoned in before 2.00pm on match day to Dave McArdle

Sportsmanship Secretary:

  1. Attention was drawn to Ickford 1st team disciplinary record already this season.
  2. Ickford Reserves are showing an improvement from last season. Keep this good work up.

Ground Liaison Officer:

  1. Nothing to report

Any other Business:

  1. Grounds for cup competitions discussed. Your views are welcomed on this matter, please address to the League Secretary.
