SLN AYLESBURY SUNDAY FOOTBALL COMBINATION

Management Committee Meeting - September 6th, 2007

Opening:

The meeting of the SLN Aylesbury Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:06 on 6th September 2007 at Bucks CC S & SC by Chairman Roland Simmons.

Present:

Roland Simmons, Terry Martin, Jim Wallace, Dave McArdle, Wayne Martinig, George Key.

Apologies:

Bob Walter, Terry Mead, Paul Bateman, Darren Pennery, Sharon Pennery, Basil Wetters, Steve Downer..

Approval of Minutes of the last meeting:

The minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved as distributed.

Chairman:

  1. Wayne Martinig and Basil Wetters welcomed as New Committee members.
  2. Ken Barrett has stepped down as Secretary of The Combination. Our thanks go to Ken Barrett for his work on the Management Committee. The new Secretary will be George Key with immediate affect.

Secretary:

  1. There was nothing to report to the meeting this month due to the change of Secretary. Any outstanding correspondence will be dealt with next month.
  2. George Key will not be available from September 13th to September 27th inclusive.

Treasurer:

  1. Britannia 06 owed a cheque for £75.00 this is a return of there League deposit.
  2. All money owed in outstanding fines has now been paid

Fixture Secretary:

  1. 2nd September -Yeoman v Halifax - Match Postponed, (Rearranged, 23/12/2007)
  2. 2nd September - Stone v Cublington FC - Match Postponed, (Rearranged, 23/12/2007)
  3. 16th September - Stone v Grenson - Match off, (Fixture to be rearranged)

Referee’s Secretary:

  1. 26 Active referees are registered so far. A list of these has been passed to County FA for approval.
  2. 3 New referees have registered with the League.

Registration Secretary:

  1. The secretary had nothing to report due to holiday.

Results/Press Secretary:

  1. 2nd September - AFC Belgrave 06 v The Bell Topboys FC, (No result phoned in)
  2. 2nd September - FC Wanderers v Nags Head (Winslow), (No result phoned in)

Sportsmanship Secretary:

  1. The secretary had nothing to report.

Ground Liaison Officer:

  1. Bob Walter carried out an inspection at The Winslow Centre. This pitch will not be played on this season due to maintenance work being carried out.

Any other Business:

  1. Photo ID spoken about again, to be looked into.
  2. Clubs meeting went well.
  3. Bob Walter is to arrange a Rep team sub-committee meeting.

Adjournment:

Meeting was adjourned at 20:50 by Roland Simmons.

The next meeting will be at 8pm on Thursday 4th October 2007 at Bucks CC Sports & Social Club.
