Meeting Minutes
 April 3rd, 2008

Opening:

The regular meeting of the SLN Aylesbury Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:00 on 3rd April 2008 at Bucks CC S & SC by Roland Simmons.

Present: Roland Simmons, George Key, Jim Wallace, Paul Bateman, Terry Medd, Wayne Marting, Richard Boyle

Apologies: Steve Downer, Dave McArdle, Terry Martin, Richard Lipscombe, Sharon Pennery, Darren Pennery, Bob Walter, Basil Wetters

Approval of Minutes

Chairman:

  1. Chairman invited Ickford 1st team into the meeting.

2.      Discussions took place and all comments noted. Thank you to Steve Mortimer and       Paul Rogers for attending.

Secretary:

  1. All correspondence read out and accepted.
  2. All cup final dates and venues have now been confirmed.
  3. Sponsorship for the sportsmanship award agreed with Hemel Trophies and Jewellers.
  4. Walton Street Rangers resignation, deposit with held by league and Fifty pound fine for withdrawing from the League.

Treasurer:

  1. One outstanding fine from Padbury AFC now increased by twenty pounds.

Fixture Secretary:

  1. All results for Sunday 13th April to be phoned to George Key 07961 114656
  2. Please note due to several weeks of bad weather the league has now been extended by one week, therefore matches have been scheduled for the week commencing Monday 28th April 2008 thru to Sunday 4th May 2008.
  3. Letter received from Chandos Arms, committee decision taken and the club to be advised accordingly.

Referee’s Secretary:

  1. Jim Wallace advised the committee that he would not be standing for re-election as secretary for next season.
  2. Thanks from the committee go to Jim for all his hard work and efforts during a difficult season.

Registration Secretary:

  1. Fines passed to League Secretary.

Results/Press Secretary:

  1. Some Clubs are still not ringing in results before 2pm.
  2. All clubs Home and Away to phone in goal scorers with names ready not guessing when on the telephone or trying to remember.
  3. Fines passed to league secretary.
  4. Well done to all clubs who played Wednesday 2nd April, all results phoned in by 8.30pm

Sportsmanship Secretary:

  1. Monitoring of sportsmanship table to continue.
  2. Well done to Ickford Reserves, who have now achieved above the required mark of three.

Ground Liaison Officer:

  1. Due to problems with Tring Athletic the Vale of Aylesbury Cup Final will take place Sunday 27th April, 3.00pm ko @ Aylesbury Vale FC .

Any other Business:.

1.      League Secretary making progress with next season.

Agenda for Next Meeting:

  1. The structure for the Leagues next season will be discussed any information on this matter to be addressed to the League Secretary.
