SLN AYLESBURY SUNDAY FOOTBALL COMBINATION

Meeting Minutes
December 6th, 2007

Opening:

The regular meeting of the SLN Aylesbury Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:01 on 6^th December 2007 at Bucks CC S & SC by Roland Simmons.

Present: Roland Simmons, George Key, Sharon Pennery, Dave McArdle, Jim Wallace, Paul Bateman, Darren Pennery, Terry Medd, Wayne Marting, Basil Wetters

Apologies: Steve Downer, Bob Walter, Brian Constable

Approval of Minutes

Chairman:

1.      The Bell Top Boys were invited in to the meeting; points were discussed with the Club and these shall be monitored. Thanks to Chris Williams and Shayne Simpson for attending.

Secretary:

1.      All correspondence read out and passed.

2.      Letter received from FC Wanderers reference Winslow Town match.

3.      Letters have been sent out regarding Cup Final venues, awaiting responses.

Treasurer:

1.      Ickford Reserves have a £10.00 outstanding fine due to a change in personnel at the club and therefore correspondence were being sent to incorrect address the club have until Monday 10^th to pay or face an increase of £20.00.

2.      Ickford Reserves Secretary contacts are now passed via Gavin Baker, please see 1^st team details for address.

3.      The costing of representative matches has been brought to the committee’s attention.

Fixture Secretary:

1.      All fixture changes have been rearranged and a list of these fixture changes shall be included with these minutes.

2.      It has been made aware that Clubs are not making every Sunday available. Failure to be available could result in your club being FINED.

Referee’s Secretary:

1.      Please note Chris Hadley has moved away from the area and is unable to referee on The Combination. A letter thanking him of his service has been passed on.

2.      Keith Doughty is not available for the rest of the season due to promotion at work.

3.      New referees are being contacted on a regular basis.

Registration Secretary:

1.      The registration of some players is to be checked that they are not on an FA contract with their Saturday League Teams.

2.      Fines passed to League Secretary.

3.      FC Aristocrat fined £25.00 for failing to satisfactorily attend to business. Rule 5 K

4.      The registration of James Booth has been suspended until May 31^st 2008

5.      James Faulkner has had his registration suspended with immediate effect until January 31^st 2008 – league rule 8 G 1

Results/Press Secretary:

1.      Some Clubs are still not ringing in results before 2pm.

2.      Fines passed to league secretary.

3.      Goal scorers from some teams are not being reported or recorded on team sheets correctly this must stop immediately.

Sportsmanship Secretary:

1.      Monitoring of sportsmanship table to continue.

2.      Ickford 1^st Team are making improvements to there sportsmanship marks. This has been noted so please keep up the good work.

3.      The following teams are being monitored Yeoman FC, Padbury United Reserves and Ickford Reserves.

Ground Liaison Officer:

1.      League Secretary to liaise with Bob regarding Cup Final Venues on going.

2.      The facilities at Westcott have been brought to our attention and shall be looked into.

Any other Business:

Cup Draws:

            1. Tony Higginson and Chris Payne Trophy Draws Round 1 enclosed tie to be played Sunday 20^th January 2008
