Opening:
The regular meeting of the SLN Aylesbury
Sunday Football Combination was called to order at 20:01 on 7th
February 2008 at Bucks CC S & SC by Roland Simmons.

Chairman:
- Comment
from the Chairman regarding how nice it is to see that we are now getting
back to a regular fixture schedule each week.
Secretary:
- All
correspondence read out and accepted.
- All
cup final dates and venues have now been confirmed.
- On
going talks with a company regarding sponsorship for the sportsmanship
award.
- Proposed
Rules changes for next season to be sent to all Club Secretary’s by 15th
March 2008.
Treasurer:
- All
outstanding fines have been paid.
Fixture
Secretary:
- Concern
over the amount of matches being postponed by Clubs. League rules state 28
days notice must be given in writing to the League Secretary.

Street Rangers v
FC Wanderers [Round 1].
Walton Street Rangers fined £60.00 of which there is a £30.00 fine and £30.00
suspended unless another matter is brought to the Committee attention.

17 February 2008 - Division One,

F.C. v
Yeoman
FC. Yeoman
FC fined £40.00 late call off, ordered to pay £30.00 pitch fee and £27.00
referee fee.
- Sunday,
02 March 2008 - Premier Division, Ickford
v
Chandos
Arms FC. A committee decision was made. This match is to take place with a
referee and two neutral assistants. Both clubs to pay any expenses.

Two, Chearsley Cricketers v
Elm Farm FC.
Chearsley
fined £20.00 late call off.
- Sunday,
09 March 2008 - Premier Division, Rockwood
FC v
Ickford.
Ickford sent a letter to League Secretary, committee agreed to free date.
- Sunday,
09 March 2008 - Division One, The Bell Topboys FC v
Stone
F.C., Due
to the Oving Village Cup this match was postponed.
- Please
note that there a few matches unscheduled, some matches will be played mid
week so please be prepared.
- Fixtures
changes may happen DO NOT FORGET THIS IS A SUNDAY LEAGUE, therefore on all
Sundays you must expect your team to have a fixture and not presume. If
unsure ask the fixture secretary or league secretary.
Referee’s
Secretary:
- All
Cup Final Referees have been appointed.
- Vale
of Aylesbury – Mike Dobson, Tony Higginson – Brian Constable, Chris
Payne Trophy – Peter Rice. All assistant referees still to be appointed.
- Letter
received from Nags Head United (Winslow) contents noted.
Registration
Secretary:
- Nothing
to report.
- Fines
passed to League Secretary.
Results/Press
Secretary:
- Some
Clubs are still not ringing in results before 2pm.
- All
clubs Home and Away to phone in goal scorers with names ready not guessing
when on the telephone or trying to remember.
- Fines
passed to league secretary.
- Goal
scorers from some teams are not being reported or recorded on team sheets
correctly this must stop immediately.
Sportsmanship
Secretary:
- Monitoring
of sportsmanship table to continue.
- Well
done to Ickford Reserves, who have now achieved above the required mark of
three.
- There
is also a noticeable improvement to the marks being below the required
standard of three by Padbury United Reserves and Yeoman FC.
Ground
Liaison Officer:
- Nothing
to report.
Any
other Business:

Photo ID was discussed and enquires to be made.
2.
League Secretary making progress with next season and all printing etc.
Agenda
for Next Meeting:
- The
structure for the Leagues next season will be discussed any information on
this matter to be addressed to the League Secretary.
