HEADLINES -
Halifax take top spot in Div One as Belgrave can only draw at home with Unique.  Stone FC keep up their 100% winning start in the league
Leaders in Div Two win comfortably.  Nags, Winslow and Exiles get back to winning ways.  FC Wanderers squeeze past Padbury as Cheddington and Walton Street share 6

This week saw our Premier Division reduced to only 7 teams as Athletico Aylesbury resigned from league and their playing record for this season has been expunged.  The club has some outstanding fines and anyone wishing to sign any of their players need to seek clarification from the Registration Secretary AND the Treasurer BEFORE doing so.

In today's action, it was Round One of The Berks & Bucks FA Sunday Intermediate Cup for two of our sides and both of them faced away ties in Milton Keynes.  FC Aristocrat won 4-2 against Milton Keynes City, but Rockwood are out as they lost 3-2 to Scots Rangers.

Just three games in Div One today.  Leaders The Bell Topboys took a day off and AFC Belgrave had the opportunity to take over at the top, but only managed a point from their 3-3 draw at home to Unique FC.  Halifax (Aylesbury) had a delayed start to the season, but they have more than made up for it as they recorded their 4th successive league win with a 5-0 win at home to Cublington - a result that puts them top of the table tonight.  Stone FC are also unbeaten in the league this season and they won again as they beat Bucks (Aylesbury) by the odd goal in 7 at Stone Rec.

It was a full programme in Div Two and overnight leaders Elm Farm extended their lead with 6-0 win over Ickford Reserves.  FC Wanderers beat fellow strugglers Padbury AFC 2-1 and Cheddington Reserves, who started the game with only 8 men and missed a second half penalty, drew 3-3 with Walton Street Rangers.  There were wins for some sides that have faltered of late as Aylesbury Exiles stole the points from in form Chearsley Cricketers with a 1-0 win at Towersey and Winslow Town won by the odd goal in 5 against Excel Dents.  Nags Head keep up their good run of form with an impressive 5-1 win over Thame Athletic.
