Aylesbury Exiles will play Elm Farm in this seasons Chris Payne Trophy final as they brush aside their semi opponents this morning
Halifax (Aylesbury) move to within three points of The Topboys at the top of Div One.  Unique beat Cublington and Grenson record their first league win of the season as Yeoman slide ominously towards the foot of the table
Nags lose in league action as the Dents show their promotion potential and it's all square between The Wanderers and Thame Athletic

This seasons Chris Payne Trophy final will be between two of our new sides when Aylesbury Exiles take on Elm Farm at Haywood Way on April the 20th.

In this mornings semis at Fairford Leys, Elm Farm eased past Chearsley Cricketers 7-0, but it was much tighter in the other game as Aylesbury Exiles eventually overcame Ickford Reserves 5-3.

In league action, game of the day came at Aston Clinton Park as Aston Clinton S&SC hosted league leaders FC Aristocrat.  The visitors saw a half time 1-0 lead wiped out early in the second half as the home side struck twice early on in the second half.  Aristocrat also missed a penalty before equalizing with ten minutes to go as the final score ended 2-2.

Div One leaders, The Bell Topboys had an enforced day off as apparently, The Oving Villages Cup, which doesn't involve any of our sides, took priority - work that one out!!  In their absence, Halifax (Aylesbury) used up their game in hand on the leaders with a game at Springfields against Padbury Utd Res.  They moved within three points of Shayne Simpson's men with a comfortable 7-0 win this morning.  Grenson FC haven't had much to smile about this season, but whilst others might have bottled it and called it a day, they have stuck it out and were rewarded with their first win of the season after a 3-1 win over Yeoman.  In the final game in this division, Unique FC beat Cublington 3-1.

In Div Two, Nags Head played their first league game for only the third time since November the 4th 2007.  With all their recent and ongoing cup exploits, they could well be taking their eye off the ball when it comes to domestic duties!  Today they came up against one of those sides who have taken advantage of their league absence in Excel Dents.  It was a close game, but it's Excel Dents who pull away at the top of the table after a 3-2 win - Nags still have 5 games in hand though!  Thame Athletic and FC Wanderers fought out a 2-2 draw in the only other game on this division today.
