Elm Farm thump Winslow Town on their way to taking the Div Two title and Padbury AFC win at The Cricketers

FC Aristocrat took a giant step towards the Premier Division title after a 4-1 win over current champions VTS FC at Bedgrove tonight.  They opened up a 4 point gap at the top of the table over Aston Clinton S&SC who beat Rockwood 3-0 - a result that ends any outside title ambitions Rockwood had.

In Div One, The Bell Topboys, already assured of top two finish, beat Padbury United Reserves 4-1 and another win should see them as champions.  Unique FC warmed up for Sunday's Tony Higginson Cup Semi with a 3-1 win over Grenson - a win that makes sure they won't finish in the bottom two this season.

Here's some of the action from the game:

Fairford Leys last Sunday....

...and just four days later!

Unique's Tom Brindley (9) put his side ahead after only five minutes.

Referee Roy Pryor.

Glorious evening sunshine for tonight's game.

Unique keeper Matt Milton makes a great save...

...and he gets everything behind this one!

Grenson's Joe McGloughlin.

Grenson go close with this effort as they finish the first half on top but go in 1-0 down...

...but even the lino can't believe it when Grenson take the lead within seconds of the restart.

This Unique effort went close...

...before Jamie Knight makes it 2-1.

Grenson blow the chance to draw level...

...before Tom Brindley makes it 3-1 with what has to be the worse picture of the season so far!!

In Division Two, leaders Elm Farm continued their stroll to the title after a comfortable 11-0 win over Winslow Town.  In the other game tonight, Padbury AFC came away from Towersey with a 2-1 win over Chearsley Cricketers.
