game this morning
Premier Division champions VTS FC got back to winning ways this morning with a
comfortable 4-0 win over basement boys Ickford at a soggy Haywood
Way. Meanwhile, leaders Rockwood remain top of the table tonight as
they earned themselves a valuable point away to Aston Clinton
S&SC. The other Premier Division fixture between Chandos Arms and FC Aristocrat
was postponed as the changing rooms at Weston Turville have been closed due too an infestation of
rats!!!
There's
more bad news for FC Aristocrat as well as from Monday 26th November, the County
FA have placed them under suspension for "failing too answer too a
case". More news on this as we get it.
In
Div One, unbeaten leaders Halifax (Aylesbury) welcomed Terry Medd's Stone FC to Kimble Cricket Club. Both sides are currently
enjoying a good run, but it's the home side who were seeking to extend their 100% record in all competitions this season.
Here's
the action courtesy of George Key who took today's photo's:

A bit chilly, but perfect weather for footie at the picturesque Kimble
Cricket Club this morning.

There are times when, as a referee, you need a change of shirt when the
teams wear dark colours.
There are also times when you're just a big poser and can't wait to get
that lovely new shirt out!!!
Today's referee - me!

That hairstyle came in handy for the Halifax keeper as he nods this one
away early on.

The turning point in the game!
The Stone FC's Lino's flag rules this goal offside - but who was it?

Stone FC take the lead early on after the break.

Baz.

Just a quick check to see if the ball has crossed the line!

Halifax go in search of the eaqualizer.

That won't get you anywhere!!!

David Daley makes it 2-0 to Stone FC.

Small shorts or a big butt?

Halifax pull one back right on the 45.

Dejection for the Halifax bench as they see their unbeaten record go
today.
Final score, Halifax (Aylesbury) 1, Stone FC 2.
Halifax's
surprise defeat means that The Bell Topboys regain that top spot on goal
difference tonight after they beat Grenson 6-1 at Walton Court. AFC Belgrave and Bucks
(Aylesbury) were close rivals in last seasons Div two campaign and they locked horns again at Westcott Sports & Leisure Centre
today. It was honours even as they game finished 2-2. Unique FC
hit ten last week with Striker Tom Brindley netting 6. He notched up
another brace today as his side beat struggling Padbury Utd Res 6-0.
Cublington have been struggling in this season's campaign so far, but they
eased their relegation worries with a 3-0 win away at Yeoman.
There
was only the one game in Div Two this week and Aylesbury
Exiles, who have made a promising start to life in the combination, took on
fellow newcomers Thame Athletic at Towersey. It was a tight game game with
both sides sharing four goals and the points/
