The Tony
Higginson Challenge Cup Final
Aston Clinton S&SC
v
New Zealand
Sunday 29th April 2007
*****************************************************
Aston Clinton Sports &
Social Club.
New Zealand FC.
Both teams pay their respect
to ex Blackpool and England hero Alan Ball.
An early encounter.
Showing no hangover from the
disappointment of The Vale Cup final defeat, New Zealand striker Lee Parrack
puts his side one up.
Referee Mike Dobson.
The turning point in the
game!
New Zealand striker Lee Parrack looked to have fouled Aston skipper Lewis
Foster, but Mr Dobson thought otherwise and gave a corner.
And guess what, from the resulting corner, up popped Parrack (far left) to make
it 2-0.
Aston Clinton S&SC
skipper Lewis Foster gets a yellow from Mr Dobson for his persistent enquiries
into his earlier interpretation of the incident!
Wait a minute, you've only
just come on!
Substitute Alex Woodfine sneaks in amongst the static Aston defence to make it
3-0...
...and Grant Karwacinski (8)
stands with the rest of us too admire his exquisite chip that made it 4-0.
Man of the match (Sponsored by
Christopher Pallet Estate Agents of Aylesbury)
